A beautiful, natural hide adds sophistication to your sofa and room. Generally, leather upholstery will outlive a fabric choice. It’s strong and less resistant to staining, less likely to tear or fray and easy to care for. For some individuals it may feel sticky in the summer and cold in the winter. But this is not such a problem in our climate controlled homes.

Fabric

Fabrics offer so many options for colour, texture, print and feel. A man-made fibre will be more durable than cottons or linens, so always consider the use of the space where the sofa is going. Is it an everyday family space or occasional formal room?

Fabrics are usually less expensive than leather are create a casual and inviting feel to your sofa and room. You can be creative with your choice, mix and match plains with patterns to create a coordinated look.
